Here are some pictures from January we went to Abuela and Abuelo's house one day for breakfast and had a great time. Abuela let Elias play the piano, and he loved it. He likes instruments a lot! Faith is growing fast, she is now standing up holding on to things. Now that she can reach the Diego table - I really have to be careful with drinks and food that are left there! She is still a tiny girl, she just barely is a little more than double her birth weight and she turns 12 months in March! She eats really good, she does prefer to feed herself than to be spoon-fed I'm finding out.
Welcome to the United States! Yes Saul is officially a Resident of the US of A. As of March 26th! Yay! He still enjoys his job at Cantwell Bros. Lumber. They are wonderful to him there. He goes and works out with his buddies from work every morning before work. The man has lost over fourty pounds!! Go Saul!! He is a busy dad as takes care of the kids when I'm off to work some evenings!! The kids are really close to him. He has become one with the kitchen and his new friend is the George Foreman grill where he woops up a mean grilled chicken, yum!!
ZURI
School is Cool! Zuri, me, has returned to work and school this fall. It's busy and crazy, but it's working out. Since May I have been working at a residencial treatment center for girls. It is fun and challenging - I like it. In August, I returned to USU and am applying for the Masters of Family and Human Development program in January. I started out with a different educational goal (2nd Bachelor's), so I took a sewing class this semester - I can now sew! I'll need some practice, however, because its never straight!! I am adjusting to leaving my babies, it's been hard. I certainly treasure every minute with them!! They are sooo much fun!
ELIAS
NO more pull-ups!! Elias has officially conquered the potty!! We are super proud of him and we have a celebration after each and every time. Elias is going to school now a couple of times a week. He goes to a preschool that helps him with his speech. He has improved so much!! We love his teacher. If I was to pick one thing that Elias is really into - I couldn't. He loves all the characters on t.v. He likes books and love to play cars. Elias loves his baby sister Faith, he will even share his things and treats with her, sometimes. Elias is already a good rolemodel for Faith. He has great manners, he does well saying please, thank you, and I'm sorry!
FAITH
Little Faith, she is a doll. Her hair is growing longer and longer curls, especially the spot that Elias cut off! She is a spicy one, though. Don't get on her bad side, she'll let you know all about it!! Elias knows first hand - on the side of his eye is a scar to prove it! She'll even get mad at me and not want anything to do with me! She is also sweet. She loves to sing Twinkle Little Star and is learning the ABCs and 123s with Elias. Faith loves being a mommy to her babies. She pretends to cook for them and change their diapers. She is still under 20 pounds! Yes she is 21 months old. She is starting to gain weight little by little.
